Mini adventure across the river

We've been admiring this spot from across the river for a while.  Bob and I finally went to check it out.  It did not disappoint.

This beach here is the park we visit almost daily, and our house is around on the other side of that little peninsula to the right of it.

I got so many great photos; the grass was awesome.

Soon the sky looked like this...

... so we booked it outta there.
